London Walking and Cycling Conference

After seven successful years of the Hackney Cycling Conference, the London Borough of Hackney is partnering with the City of London Corporation to host the first ever London Walking and Cycling Conference, in association with Steer. The City has the highest walking rates of any local authority in the country and Hackney is London's number one borough for cycling. This partnership combines expertise and recognises the importance of active travel to both residents and businesses.

Essential conversations will be had about the importance of cycling and walking in London, with a focus on improving the experience and enabling more people to choose these healthy, sustainable modes of travel. Past conferences have attracted a wide range of industry professionals, campaigners and elected members and have been a great opportunity to be heard, influence policy and gain exposure for new ideas.

Speakers include Vice Mayor for Mobility in  Rotterdam Judith Bokhove, London’s Walking and Cycling Commissioner Will Norman and Campaigns and Policy Manager at Wheels for Wellbeing Neil Andrews to name a few. Check out the full list of speakers and grab your tickets here.
